Jes Black- CEO & Chairman
les Black represents the combined experience essential to leading Allied American Steel: business economics, market analysis and response, raising capital, asset acquisition and development, and directorship and executive management. Mr. Black was a Senior Currency Strategist during his time at New York’s MG Financial Group, where he analyzed and forecasted global markets while regularly being quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Barron, Financial Times and Reuters.
While at New York’s BF Capital, Mr. Black’s roles included Asset Manager and Managing Director. Over his four years with the alternative asset management company, he never had a down year.
Mr. Black has helped raise over S15 million in new project finance; has acted as director of numerous early-stage companies; has been the featured guest speaker at 12 commodity trade conferences; and was recently published by Aspatore Books as a co-author of “Venture Capital Exit Strategies.” Mr. Black earned a full scholarship MBA at Ecole Superior de Commerce (ESC), Clermont-Ferrand, France. He also created and taught a commerce course at ESC; delivered a business economics course at the University of Kansas; and holds two patents pending for resource related businesses.
Richard Tschauder – Senior Geologist
Mr. Tschauder is a senior geologist with over thirty years of experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. Since 1996, he has drawn on that experience while acting as an independent consultant, concentrating on the identification and exploration of Mexican mining projects. For 15 years, Rick was chief geologist for Recla Mining Company jNYSE:Ht I Market Cap: 51.196). From 1984 until 1995, he was involved in acquisition efforts that led to a ten-fold increase in Recta’s gold reserves, and was instrumental in bringing a number of mines to the production stage, including Golden Promise and Golden Eagle, Washington; Rosebud, Nevada; Grouse Creek, Idaho; and to Choya, Sonora. Rick has over 25 publications in mining and economic geology. He is the founder of Bueno de Oro, Inc., a consulting firm based in Zacatecas, Mexico, and has served as an officer and/or director or consultant of other pthlicly trading exploration and development companies.
Erik Ostensoe – Senior Exploration
Advisor Erik Ostensoe is a senior geologist with broad experience in mineral exploration and International assignments for resource and mining companies. Among his special abilities are project planning and management, property evaluation and selection, and preparation of NI 43-101-compliant reports. In his early career, Mr. Ostensoe prospected ventures as a staff geologist with Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Ltd. (NYSE:NEM I Market Cap: 523.77B) Since that time, he has been involved in major field projects with Hecla Mining Company of Canada Ltd., a division of Hecla Mining Company (NYSE:HL I Market Cap: $1.19B), and Granduc Mines Ltd. as senior geologist and chief geologist respectively. Over the years, his duties have varied from field and underground mapping, to due diligence related to property acquisition and exploration proposals, acting as director for various exploration companies, and the management of mineral projects that have represented million dollar budgets and, on occasion, crews exceeding 30 persons. Mr. Ostensoe’s education includes a BSc. (Hons.) degree in geology from University of British Columbia, and MSc. Studies in economic geology at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario (thesis not completed). Additional studies have included courses in geophysics (KIT), diamond exploration, porphyry deposits, uranium deposits and ore deposit models. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, and licensee of Northwest Territories/Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.
Dr. Stewart A. Jackson – Ph.D., P.GeoI. —Technical Advisor
Dr. Jackson is a 50-year mineral industry professional with extensive experience across both field-based and executive roles while having been involved in the exploration and development of base and precious minerals deposits in a wide range of environments for both large and small companies. He is currently a consultant to and director of several public companies in Canada, USA, Mexico, Sweden, Africa, Australia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Dr. Jackson previously formed and managed Crown Resource Corp. as a public company. Through the company, Dr. Jackson made multiple discoveries of gold in the State of Washington, totaling several million ounces, which continues to be produced by Kinross Gold Corporation (NYSE:KGC I Market Cap: S10.468).
Dr. Stewart also raised 530 million for the discovery and development of various projects inducting gold, silver, diamonds, and base metals. Earlier in his career, Dr. Jackson was instrumental in Cominco American Incorporation’s (now Teck Resources Limited NYSE:TCK I Market Cap: $20.61 B) exploration and development of the Red Dog zinc-lead deposits in western Alaska, which currently represent over 10% of world zinc production. Subsequently, Dr. Jackson was the exploration manager for Houston Oil and minerals Corporation diring the discovery and development of the Manhattan, South McCoy and Borealis gold deposits in the State of Nevada. His responsibilities included all phases of mineral exploration and the early stage of development with budgets of SI0-30M per year and staff of up to 200 people.
Dr. Jackson was also instrumental in the advancement of the Turnagain nickel sulfide deposit of northern British Columbia, Canada, from a prospect to the billion tonne resource category. During the 2000s, he acquired and developed the Viken Multi-Metal deposit in Sweden, containing 113 pounds uranium, 1.513 pounds molybdenum and 15B pounds vanadium. Dr. Jackson has authored and co-authored a number of scientific publications, is a member of several scientific and professional organizations, and holds a Professional Geologist (P. Geol.) Registration in the Province of Alberta, Canada. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology (University of western Ontario), an MSc in Stratigraphy and Mineral Deposits (University of Toronto), and a Ph.D. in Stratigraphy and Economic Geology (University of Alberta).
